Their Superior level of expertise and ability to get the job done is absolutely astonishing. The manor and talent in which John and Cathy have represented us was so much one-on-one collaboration with a very personable approach. Over the last decade, my family has sought the expertise of Cathy & John on all the homes we’ve bought and sold. Homes in the Northern Virginia area sell quickly and we were concerned in that this competitive market that we would not be able to secure something within our price range. Cathy & John helped ease those concerns and were able to find us options that fit what we were looking for within our desired price range. They were flexible in being able to meet for walkthroughs and open houses and they understand the market and what negotiation measures to recommend in order to seal the deal. We started searching for homes in late October 2019 and closed on a property at the beginning of January 2020 (less than 3 months!). As first-time homebuyers, we learned so much working with Cathy & John and will definitely be working with them again for any home buying/selling needs.

Our sale was tricky as we were moving out of the country and had already moved when our closing took place. John was our primary point of contact and he handled everything with ease. We felt completely confident that things were proceeding as they should throughout the sale.
Both John and Cathy were always pleasant to deal with and we found them honest and trustworthy in all aspects of the sale of our home. Most of all, we felt like we were dealing with friends who truly cared about us and wanted the best for us. We enjoyed talking with them and found they were always easy to get in touch with if we had questions or concerns. This was a concern of mine before we hired them as we knew they are very active realtors. We never felt pushed aside by the other transactions they were managing. On the contrary, the volume they sell seemed to help John have an even better handle on the market in the area. When a low offer arrived early on, John's recommendation was to wait, and he was right. We received a better offer later. He clearly knows the market and the area. Cathy was very helpful in prepping the house and staging it, recommending paint colors, etc.
We plan to hire John and Cathy to help us purchase a home when we return to the area. They are true professionals.
